1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services of Webdevr ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients who access or use our web development services.
2. Services
2.1 Service Description
Webdevr provides professional web development services including but not limited to:
- Website design and development
- E-commerce solutions
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Website maintenance and support
- Mobile-responsive design
- Custom web applications
2.2 Service Packages
We offer various service packages (Basic, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise) with different features and pricing. The specific terms for each package are outlined during the consultation and quotation process.
3. Project Process
3.1 Project Initiation
- Projects begin upon receipt of signed agreement and initial payment
- Client must provide all necessary content and materials as requested
- Delays in providing materials may extend project timeline
3.2 Development Timeline
- Basic Package: 3-5 business days
- Starter Package: 5-7 business days
- Professional Package: 2-3 weeks
- Enterprise Package: 6+ weeks
Timelines are estimates and may vary based on project complexity and client responsiveness.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
- All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP)
- Prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable
- Custom quotes are valid for 30 days
4.2 Payment Schedule
- 50% deposit required to begin work
- Remaining 50% due upon project completion
- Monthly support fees billed in advance
4.3 Late Payments
Late payments may incur a fee of 2% per month. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts more than 30 days overdue.
5. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Supply content, images, and materials in requested formats
- Respond to communications within 48 hours during project
- Review and provide feedback on deliverables promptly
- Ensure all provided content does not infringe on third-party rights
- Obtain necessary licenses for fonts, images, or third-party content
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Ownership
Upon full payment, the client owns the final website design and content. Webdevr retains the right to display the work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed.
6.2 Third-Party Elements
Some elements may be licensed from third parties (stock photos, fonts, plugins). These remain subject to their original licenses.
7. Revisions and Changes
- Each package includes a specific number of revision rounds
- Additional revisions beyond package limits will be charged at £50/hour
- Major scope changes may require a new project agreement
- Post-launch changes are handled through support plans
8. Support and Maintenance
8.1 Support Plans
- Standard Support: £10/month - 24hr response time
- Business Support: £15/month - 24hr response time
- Enterprise Support: £28/month - 24hr response time
8.2 Support Coverage
Support includes bug fixes, minor updates, security patches, and content updates. Major redesigns or new features are quoted separately.
9. Warranties and Disclaimers
9.1 Service Warranty
We warrant that our services will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. We will correct any defects in our work at no additional charge for 30 days after launch.
9.2 Disclaimers
We cannot guarantee specific rankings in search engines, exact visitor numbers, or business outcomes. Website performance depends on many factors beyond our control, including hosting, third-party services, and internet connectivity.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webdevr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services.
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by Client
Clients may terminate services with 14 days written notice. Work completed to date must be paid in full. Deposits are non-refundable.
11.2 Termination by Webdevr
We reserve the right to terminate services for non-payment, breach of terms, or if the project requirements are illegal or unethical.
12. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information received during the course of the project. This obligation survives termination of the agreement.
13. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic, strikes, or internet service interruptions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any project agreements and invoices, constitute the entire agreement between the parties. Any modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17. Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
